Erin is passionate about helping you come up with a plan to keep you moving. She believes in patient-centered treatment plans developed with a strong evidence-based approach that promotes self-care and empowers patients to take their health into their own hands.
Erin started her physical therapy career at a sports medicine clinic where she specialized in concussion treatment, running analysis, pediatrics, and return-to-sport care for elite athletes and casual gym goers alike.
Erin earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Amherst College, in Amherst, MA. She played collegiate ice hockey both at Bemidji State University and Amherst College. She then attended the University of Minnesota, where she earned her doctorate in physical therapy. During her clinical internships, Erin had the unique opportunity to work in a pediatric hospital in Tanzania on a university-wide graduate school scholarship.
Erin is enthusiastic about education. She will begin her orthopedic residency at Motion in 2018, and is a credentialed clinical instructor for physical therapy students.
In her free time, Erin enjoys porch side sits with friends and family, exploring the Twin Cities on her bike, knitting with her cat Tina, cooking, and taking SCUBA diving trips. Every winter, you can find her on Lake Nokomis playing in Minnesota’s annual pond hockey tournament.
